Corporate Membership in the German Association

Thank you for your interest in becoming a corporate member of the German Association. With a membership you receive attractive benefits and you support our efforts to serve the German-speaking community in Singapore and also to help newcomers to adjust to a new environment and also as a venue which feels like a piece of home.

You can choose between two memberships:

• the Basic Membership and
• the Premium Membership.

The German Association - Deutsches Haus

You may have heard about the German Association – Deutsches Haus. You certainly know “Impulse”, the highly rated German magazine with all its information and tips for the German speaking community.

Perhaps, you have once attended the ‘Spargelessen’ at the Conrad Hotel, or a dinner at the Paulaner Bräuhaus or the Swiss Club, or any other event of the German Association - Deutsches Haus. You may even know the house in Toh Tuck Road, where we reside since 2005 and where our groups for the coordination of lectures, classes, guided tours, sports and kids events has found its meeting place. For more than 150 years generations of German expats did similar things from the time of the “Club Teutonia” to the German Association – Deutsches Haus, as it is called now.

To make these services possible, many volunteers are needed to keep the “club life” going. Nevertheless, even a big group of committed volunteers are not enough to compensate for lacking financial resources. It’s the activities that vitalise the Club and give it value.

We are primarily financed by family memberships. Corporate memberships, however, are possible and offer attractive advantages to your company. Please find the details of our Basic and Premium Memberships on the attached page.

But being a corporate member is not the only way to support the German Association: “Impulse”, the magazine published by us monthly for the German-speaking Community in Singapore, reaches about 3,000 readers mainly in Singapore, but also abroad. Among our readers are the decision makers of many big German companies as well as a lot of cosmopolitans with global contacts. The profile and pricelist of “Impulse” as well as one edition of the magazine and some flyers of current programmes are enclosed.
